I had found a few pics of x's with black wheels online and decided I would give painting mine a shot

I then Ditched the rails and painted the rack With rustoleum spray bedliner to match the wheels

Found some Taillight guards on craigslist but quickly removed them after a wheeling trip, the are a target for branches

My parking lights burnt out so I installed led's

I really liked the look of the front push bar on the total chaos xterra so I attempted making my own, Also added a flowmaster 40 series for a little better sound

next up was a bit of a steering upgrade by adding a steering stabilizer and Idler Arm Brace from 4x4parts.com to help beef up the steering

I love mud and was a bit worried about sucking up some h20 so I made my own snorkel

Found some 33's!

Added a Body lift and some new Duratracs, electric fans from a ford windstar and custom rear bumper

Added An alpine flip up dvd, cobra cb and amp for the speakers

Added a hdpe skid and painted around the fogs

Started building a tire carrier

Slotted and drilled rotors

Blew a few sets of hubs then finally found some from a hardbody

Blew my front diff trying to get out of this

Started a winch mount

Made some skids

Installed speakers in the rear doors

Front bumper time!!!

Added some plates to the bumper

Well its update time again, for xmas I got a firestick 2 antenna...

But my bigger project has been beefing up my rear suspension... Luckily I got a deal from ryan davenport on his old spring packs with the deaver aal for a 2nd gen...
so I used the smallest leaf from a gen 2 and the deaver two pack and added them to the stock packs

Adding these lifted the rear 2.5" , Im not sure yet if i really want to lift the front or not so for now the fenders have been trimmed to make it appear more even... lol

TIME for a major Update, Have done a lot of work to the truck these last few weeks, needed New Brakes, Rugged Rocks Motor Mount, New plugs and wires, changed my tire carrier so it is now a swing out, mounted my hilift and cb antenna, and added graphics!

Well if you ever want to rebuild it... you could get some new gears and have them cryogenically frozen and they would be WAY stronger.

Back when I was looking into building my sr20 you could get the internals frozen for a stronger engine. I think the place was down in Florida.

Couple Questions...
What size and how long was the PVC for the snorkle upgrade?
What year model was the Ford Windstar that you got those electric fans from?

THe pvc is a 4ft piece,... I will be doing a write up soon.. mines a bit different then the rest. As for the fan that was from a late 90's model... ford taurus fans work good to

Awesome rig! I love that blue. Have you noticed a difference w/the spacer? I've been thinking about doing one of those.

Theres a bit of mid range gain from the spacer feels a bit stronger around 2500 rpm

Yes quite a bit really... it takes alot of stress off the motor

The bumper pieces are just 1/8" just for looks really

I don't have as many pictures as I thought to do a successful write up... really though all it is is a 90 degree rubber elbow coming out of the airbox then a 2" peice of pvc that I heated with a torch and molded to where I wanted it.
