I'm not happy I missed this trail and good friends today!
I have a few good reasons - baby, guests, and ultra secret mods to be revealed next week.
I need to get to Red Cone ASAP.

Ok, that's it. I demand that you come to Idaho and take lots of really cool pics (which we have lots of really cool places). And we can wheel and you can take all the pics of the most remote crap in the ConUS. Yep, that's the plan. Now you need to come visit.

On a side note, I am uber jealous of your tall and trail-developed mountains. Most of our mountains do not have trails like this or access to them on 4 wheels for that matter. Keep up the amazing photographic work! I love seeing what you come up with next. Oh, and your X is pretty, too. :)

We missed you Eric... :-(

I missed you too, man. I've only wheeled with you at the Gulches this year and half that time was spent waiting for me and my tranny issues and you hauling rednecks on underpowered ATV's up the gulches.

Mel, you can just go ahead and move to Colorado or keep enjoying your untouched wilderness. :p

Mel, I'd love to, and I'd do it in a second!!! Now we'll need to convince the wife that I'm no longer gone for 12 hours, but 12 days!

I think that most of our high mountain trails originated in the 1800's with the mining folks. The narrow shelf roads would attribute to that.

Thank you for the compliments, they are appreciated! :)

Oh, I'm gonna continue to enjoy my untouched wilderness. After visiting CO to play w/ X's I learned that I simply cannot deal with CO traffic.

Bring the wife along! Call it a vacation...of the nature/outdoors/camping type. :)

X is looking good, It must be nice to have a pit crew to work on your vehicles.

...back from hibernation. I've been so busy at work. These guys were amazing! Pit crew is an understatement! We did the body lift in about 4 hours including lunch...still shaking my head! Now, I just need my new BL sliders and the X is good for the winter.

I've had that happen a few times. Most recently at a drive through. This kid couldn't be older than 15. He made a comment about how badass the X looked and after we got our order he just looked out the window and said "most of the time I tell people with big trucks not to get stuck. Somehow I don't think you have that problem."

Thanks Mike! I cheated and shot them in lower North Cheyenne Canon Park on the SW side of COS. I went were I knew there were colorful trees, and something that would contrast the grey truck!
