Well guys I think I'm done with it all. The motor blew last night. I got an oil change yesterday and it blew at around 630 last night so not sure what to do now other than find a small car to still get to work...

Dude...very sorry to hear this. I saw the pic of your rig on the wrecker and wondered what was up.

I'd be checking with the shop that did the oil change. Did you lose oil when it happened? If not I'd drain it and measure how much they put in. Did they forget anything? Loose filter or drain plug? Did they leave the old filter gasket on the engine?

Those sucked changing on mine. The bolts broke off for the clips to the passenger side.

That's really terrible. Did the shop that changed the oil cause this to happen?

Everything was great up until about 2 hours after the change when it all started. Between the kicking the the actually blowing of the motor was 5 mins. It went quick

It going that quick, I bet something happened at the oil change place. I probably drained the oil, put a new filter on and forgot to add new oil back. How much oil was on the ground?

That really blows dude. But it sounds like the oil change place owes you an engine. I'd go grab yourself a lawyer and make em pay for that.

They towed the truck to their shop to look at it while I'm there with them. So I guess the fate of the truck will be this weekend
