Skill. And common sense. Oh, also a bunch of welds and a torque wrench.
Not sure how you saw welds,..... but I was thinking a front drive shaft would be appropriate to have, dunno, just sayin'.
i think i found my favorite pic of me at Went
I know what MY favorite Went pic of you is...
I saw it in person a few weeks ago. Obviously, the Pic was pre ds. But. She never cycled the suspension. DS kept popping out on the trail. Not sure how you saw welds,..... but I was thinking a front drive shaft would be appropriate to have, dunno, just sayin'.
Ignore the zip tied lightbar. Focus on the mess going on with the crossmemeber

She drove it from NY to MA too. HorrifyingI'm still in awe of the zip-ties THROUGH the radiator to hold on a light bar.
Hopefully they don't kill themselves with that front end "work"..... looks like a lot of "not work" to me.
She claims a professional welder did that. That's why when its go time on my sas, it's being done by a professional, not some hack.
Bahaha yeah ok... And I have a PhD in brain surgery. She claims a professional welder did that.
Brilliant! Someone dumb enough to actually drive that POS on the trail.... :holds head in hands, wondering how some people live past adolescence:
Professional welder and a professional fabricator are 2 different things. I know some professional welders that cant design, but their welding is great. She claims a professional welder did that.
The design isn't the problemProfessional welder and a professional fabricator are 2 different things. I know some professional welders that cant design, but their welding is great.

It's a well known and frequently ran 1st gen spring hanger kit from Bonney motorsports.Being a welder (not certified) and a fabricator, I’d have to disagree, and say it is certainly part of it.
I wouldn’t install that shiat on my wheel barrow.
The only time I can think of when I welded like that was when I forgot to turn on the gas.

This was the cause of her transmission burning out at ecxc 2018
You cant fix stupid
Facts. this is why my truck is still IFS. Doing it right the first time
I missed the chating. Yea Jim and I have been going at it in PM lol
Yea theres some fishy shiat going on too. Kevin's (the guy who basically built that rig) tensioner or something broke after her nissan did his timing belt. He refuses to take it back to the shop for them to fix it.
talked about it with a few guys at Went too. they all think the same. its a cursed build.
Also missing the fact I think she only wheeled it once as an Ifs. So theres a lack of experience there
