Happy June 1st XN'ers. Any good plans for the weekend?
I plan to continue taking down the fence in the back yard, I've got 4 viburnum bushes that need to be relocated, as well as a lilac. Also a small country-cottage-style fence to put up out front by the lilac's new home. Then there's about a half-million hastas that need to be moved, too.
Busy busy, but it's all outdoor work so I'll at least be happy while doing it.

I've got plans to continue painting the trim, soffet, and eaves on my house. I started the project before Connor was born and really should have finished it then because it's very difficult to get outside to paint when the wife really wants some help/break.

Yeah man, I hear that. Scheduling everything around the nap schedule is a treat, rest and wait (or work quietly) while the baby is sleeping, then go like hell and get stuff done while he's awake. That's how we do stuff around the house.

You've in the middle of the woods. Get a cable. Tie it between two trees. Connect a cable or chain to it and let the dog run outside while you're at work. Easy.
My weekend started last night with my best friend turning 21. Man, she was schammhered. Our annual downtown festival starts tonight, and goes on every Friday until the end of July - so that means lots of beer, music, and good food! I'm anxiously awaiting next weekend though. Saturday is my birthday! Woot woot!
next Sunday is mine....Wish I was as young as you still lol

Think of it this way: traffic will be awesome now and you'll have lots of time with your kids. It'll take a few months, but you can adjust to most any work schedule.

What was it you were doing again Tucker? If you're working outside at least it won't be as hot. Otherwise look for another job with normal work hours so you can still enjoy your evenings with your buds.
