i agree and now its time for story time with james...
a few years ago i was dating a girl, see was very sweet and kind of an outcast in the school, but a cutie. however a few months later i saw her dark side... she had a few mental issues and at times it scaried me. i wont go into detail but it was an eyebrow lifter indeed. one day after a movie date i desided to break the news to her it wasnt working out, we were a block away from her house.. so blah blah blah i told her. she sits there for a second then out of now where she start beating the crap out of my dashboard and door. i was shocked to all hell. i thought the airbag was gonna go off she hit it so hard. luckily i was able to get to her house and she flew out of my X before it came to a comeplete stop. before all this i told her brother who is a black belt in something that it was going to happen. he was cool with it and respected that i did it face to face rather than text. so ya... im waiting for girls my age to mature a little more in the head.

Howdy whores. I crashed my machine today at work! Hard!!
Check this out. Those pieces are rectangular tubing, 5/8" wide by 1 1/4" tall, side walls are ~.1", top and bottom walls are ~.3"
Here's the tool that did it. 3" diameter shell mill. These pics are after chiseling away lots of galled/melted aluminum.
Machine had a glitch, and called the wrong tool into the spindle. Awesome.

I was seething.
In my 9 years in this trade, I've never crashed a machine this hard, and this is my first crash at my current job. I've been there since April 2010.
I made good and sure that it was the machine's fault, which I'm happy/proud to say it was; but WTF.
So angry. Lol.

I got there in time to watch the spindle wind down (was running at 12,000 RPM) and some molten aluminum spray around inside the machine for a couple seconds. Asked the machine (quite loudly) "What the EFF are you doing in there!!" hit the e-stop and went back to break.
Took a couple hours, but got it all fixed and squared away, up and running again by 1:00. This happened at about 9:35.

My day was alright..had to ride with my boss *again* for half the day. Fortunately, today is my Friday, and I'm off the next 2 days after 0200 tonight.
Picked up my TrailAx......can we say HELL YEAH!
Now, I'm getting my weather-nerd on. I swear I should go back to school for meteorology.
