STOLEN! Tools!!!!

A fellow Xterra owner has had hi Xterra broken into and took over 1k in tools..
XN would like to donate a kit to help him rebuild.. Would anyone like to help?

Man that really sucks! I don't have near as much $$ in tools as this guy does but I would be hot if that happened to me!

Makes me realized that I need to secure my boxes better..

I'd definitely throw some cash in towards replacements.. that blows big time

The best bet for shipping to save everyone money is if he gave you the local store # then people can pay online for store pickup and he could just go there and get them all.

I can pitch in some dough. Our money will go further if we don't have to ship. I like the idea of a PayPal or at least sending money to a single person. That person could then give it to XterraPA or buy the tools for delivery or P/U.
Anyone up in his area that could make a Sears run with donations and deliver it?

My girlfriend's Hyundai was robbed in a similar fashion on July 5th at 3:00am. They didn't break anything and it was locked. They stole her GPS and iPod.

I appreciate all of the support and hatred for the thieves. I headed to some of my local auto shops and pawn shops today to see if they had anyone show up with the tools, but none of them buy tools from individuals or Craftsman tools.

It was suggested to me that I go to my local Sears and register for the items that I had stolen.

To be honest, this all feels extremely weird to me, because I am not used to having charity thrust in my direction. I don't usually like being on this end of a situation.
