I haven't forgotten about you all... just been super busy with my band and work. More upgrades have existed and will post as soon as i can. in the mean time.. ANY COLORADO XTERRAS wanna set up for a front range "spring cleaning" dust the winter dirt off trail day run?? id love to curate such an event!

Just another quick update as i have just been extremly busy! However did get a chance to take a photo of my newest upgrade



Had to give my feet some custom matching Treads to wear while i cruz Isabella around.

Anyway...Still waiting on my Calmini Exhaust to come in..(been on back order for a month now) EERRGG.

Again i really hope to get more regular posting going very soon as i continue to stay busy.

Anyone got any ideas for some simple cheap cosmetic upgrades they might recommend for my build? just need something to look forward to if i do find an open afternoon!

HELP guys XTERRA DOWN!!

Well Isabella took a nasty hit last week. To save you all for a ridiculously long story about how it happened, lets just say Downtown living has its consequences when you "apparently" piss someone off by parking in their so called "Designated spot"!

Anywho, My entire Driver side door has a 2 foot gash in it as you can see from the following photos.









Ok so now ultimately i am currently in action of filing a civil case with regards to the whole situation, however i come to you guys for some help because i (right now) feel i'm gonna be eating the bill for this one in the end. (that whole proof of evidence and he said she said BS)

I'm looking for help in possibly finding/obtaining possible places or routes to go about fixing such a thing. I am more than comfortable in doing the install of a new door on my own, but the trick is finding a new door, and possible good places to get a quality respray if needed.

Any information you guys have that can help get this fixed would be such a huge help as i am slammed with life right now.

I feel so guilty that i haven't been updating regularly, and extremely saddened this is what i have to return with!

Www.car-part.com is my go to for any major stock item; its a junkyard search engine. Remember that Frontier doors are interchangeable. Also, if you have electric locks and such, you can swap them over to a non-electric door without too much hassle (ask me how I know).

Can't really help with the paint bit, but I've had good luck with cans from www.automotivetouchup.com

Wait. So you parked in a spot that someone else wanted and they rammed your truck as a result?! If that's the gist of it there needs to be criminal charges to go along with that civil suit.

Muadeeb is definitely the guy you need to keep in touch with on this one. He knows the ins and outs of replacing a door. That sucks majorly, I hope this all turns out well for you man. Some people have major karma coming to them.

Ok here is a longer story.

I parked in a spot behind my building that i had understood was a first come first serve basis as per my rental agreement. However this specific spot is placed directly in between my building and the building next to mine. For the last 4 months before this incident i was always parking in that spot off and on no problem.I parked there then biked down to an Avalanche game for that night. When i came home i had seen my car was GONE... i freaked out and called the tow number and found out it was towed. (at this point i still didn't know my car was damaged) As i went to retrieve the car that's when i saw the damage. Obviously i was furious so i asked the tow truck driver what happened. He claimed the damage was there when he picked it up.

I then proceeded to get the guys info on who towed it and why... apparently i parked in "HIS" spot. I later came to find out that that specific spot DID belong to anyone who lived in the OTHER apartment. I contacted the guy who had it towed and he proceeded to tell me there was no damage when the two truck driver picked it up... and ****ing conveniently there were no other witness to the situation.

I contacted the police but they wouldn't even consider writing a report/ so all i could do was file one online in which i received a reply that it was my responsibility to sue the 2 parties. and as it sits to this day its a he said she said case. and honestly i am far to busy to even try to put in the effort only to have the cases thrown out for lack of proof. Iv had help from 2 family members who are highly knowledgeable about civil cases and at this point iv basically exhausted all my efforts.

I am still working on getting the management of the 2 building to be responsible for lack of "definition of parking spots" but they are being ass hats about it all too.

In the end i have come to terms about it and figured i would save up this winter for new door parts/paint.. then i'll do some body work and turn the damaged door into more of an open "No Door Jeep style" door for summer time.

The door itself works fine on every level.. its purely cosmetic.

Yes it sucks, Yes i have to look at it now every time i get into my car.. but iv also learned that's life. Karma will reap...

You cant control the Waves, but you can learn to surf. So that's what i'm doing.

I'm no expert but to be honest. I would say that damage is from towing. It looks like it was dragged across something when towing away backwards.

And this totally sucks.
