So Santa was petty Kind this year and Worked some magic!
I got the 55" Ironman truck Awning for the X. Amazingly it installs right on to the Dephep rack with just a little drilling to the stock mounting brackets.
So far I really like it. I think it will come in really handy when making those long hot overland trips through the California Desert!

So, the Last excursion with the X proved to be a little much for the front suspension.
when i bought the truck it had the 2.5 SAW coilovers on it...come to find out the guy that had it before me bought them used from another guy and put them on this truck without resealing them and rebuilding them.
After my last run to rattlesnake canyon I had a bit of a bouncy truck. The next day after the trip i checked to see if I had lost much nitro pressure in the shock and was supprised to have 5 psi of nitro in my LF....200Psi is abouth what you want.
As you can see from this picture the oil is coming out all over the shock body..
So, since its really exspensive to rebuild the new shocks i decided to just remove them and lower my truck...the 1 inch bump stops make for a bumpy ride but it looks like a really mean stink bug now!!
1st gen PML stinkbugs got nothing on me now!!

Little update, I went dumpster diving at the local military Base that I work at. I scored some awesome weather proof gear cases.. I havn't fully worked out what I will be carrying in them but I am super happy since they came in at the low low price of free... 
I will be cleaning them up today and trying to figure out what will go in what. The black one already I'd scheduled to carry all me recovery gear. And I am thinking of he while one might fit a small cook stove... We will see.

It's amazing what they throw away... I got a 8' long stainless steel workbench a couple months ago.. After I found the my buddy and I started doing Friday runs to all the dumpsters and scoping at the trash.. There is all kinds of cool stuff..

Hey Dan, did you have to drill out any holes for mounting yours to your dephep?

Yeah Mac, just drill out the brackets that come with the rack.. It takes a little bit of work but they should line up pretty well.

I've already ran through one drill bit and am frustrated I didn't buy the more expensive one. I wish I had access to a drill press.

Yeah... Those brackets are hardened steel.. I used some good snap on bits and it still took some doing... Sorry.. Should have mentioned that...

Hey guys, I have been super busy on so many projects that I haven't been modding much. I was able to get some modding done yesterday after a good garage cleanup. I saw this in another X (I thing Metz's X)
and needed it! I am now carrying these lights on my new webstore and they are available right now on sale!

I was getting really tired of backing up at night and not being able to see anything so I wanted to hook something up that would blast when i kicked it into reverse.
The install was extremely easy!!
I will give a short how to here but its a no brainer!
Step 1,
Pull both rear plastic corners.
Step 2.
Measure lights and cut holes.
Step 3:
stuff lights into holes.(Make it a tight fit!)
Step 4'
crew in with screws.
Step 5;
Wire ground and power to existing back up light harness,
Step 6[
Step back and enjoy

INstalled 100W 22" Roof light in my front valance. PRetty easy install, I needed some lights for my upcoming Mojave trip. Not sure if it will be permanent but its its extremely nice having that firepower up there.
NEXT I installed a set of Titan inner tierods and Heimed outter Tierods.
Installed Decal for Sister site Xpedition Outfitters.
And as always need to repm Merica!!
Lots More mods to come before Moab and WENT. Been working with some other companies and I think the truck will be all set up this year!!!

Did you get your tie rod inner from RockAuto? Also where did you get the heim outer. This is one mod I need to do now with bigger tires and all. Or at least get them for trail spares as I will probably bend mine.
