Casey! Just checking in for the first time in a while. Rear RLC looks awesome! I like the flat finish a lot.

For the latch issue - I'm sure James did it for a reason, I just can't figure out what that is yet. With mine, the weight of the tire carrier puts a lot of stress on that latch. Can't wait to oogle over this in person at WENT.

Thank you, Mr. Stilts! Haha. But yeah, the latch thing really doesn't bother me. It binds it up again the hatch and it ain't going anywhere . The jack thing gets me more than anything. I'd say it'd be fine with a 48"..

Just got some info on the X.. I've been having some problems with the steering and keeping the camber right so I had a suspension genius take a look at it and he said the UCA bushing were shot. Hopefully I can get it on and going before WENT!

Front sway bar is no more!

It took about 15 minutes to remove the sway bar. However, I spent about 30 minutes trying to get the last endlink off to no avail. The metal sleeve must have rust welded to the bolt.. I don't know what to do with it!

I also removed the tint from the fog lights in the bumper. I forgot to snag pictures. ALSO, new UCA bushings are coming and I have an appointment for an alignment Tuesday morning. Cutting it close! Hope all goes smooth!

Let me know how much different it is with no front sway bar. When I had a JK and forgot to reconnect I could tell as soon as I took a turn on the highway. But it wasn't too bad if you drove like a grandma lol.

I drove it just a bit with it off and for me, it wasn't a huge difference. I could a little more roll but nothing major. I really didn't have to change how I drive because I drive slow anyway haha

New bushings! I'm not sure but it seems like I remember the colors meaning something in the way they have to go in.. Am I wrong? I can't see any differences between them..

Thanks, but all I do is scour the forums. I skimmed a CX thread where they said something about grease channels in the bushings and how they relate to the camber bolt, but I really have no idea.

Casey, have you gotten your cb antenna tuned or are you still planning on doing it in the parking lot before the convoy? I'll have my SWR meter either way

Here's a close up of the bushings. You can see the differences in the groves.

Everything is mechanically sound to go WENT! Bushings are on and is aligned!

Now, if only I can get my rack back from powdercoating..

I had a nice 10" JL Audio that I ended up selling because I could make a 50 dollar turn around haha. That's really all I need.

So as some of you may have heard, there was some carnage at WENT. I snapped a tie rod in half and bent an idler arm. I've come to peace with it haha if I'm gonna wheel, it's gonna happen. I'll get all my pictures and maybe a couple videos up this evening!
