Hiya Folks, New to owning an 07 SE, and I've got questions, questions, questions. Changing gears a bit from driving a full size Ford F150 Screw for almost 10 years. Had lots of fun working on mods and upgrades over the years, but it was time the gas monster had to go. So now I am totally new to Nissan and learning of all its own eccentricities. Started off actually with picking up my X needing the tranny rebuilt. Didn't discover that until nearly the point of sale, luckily I discovered it just in time and was able to re-negotiate the deal to cover most of the cost. One CSF all aluminum racing radiator, and a competent rebuild and she's hopefully bullet proof back in business. Looking forward to exchanging ideas and picking brains... Cheers!!

Welcome from the south desert. ^^ You'll find that the X is pretty easy to work on, unless you're trying to change spark plug #6 or the alternator, which are buried treasures in this little SUV.

Check out craigslist for your new transmission. You can usually find a new vehicle that's being parted out because of an accident. That's the cheapest way to get your parts. Good luck!
