Im planning on getting these for auxiliary reverse lights:

http://www.rigidindustries.com/Dually-2x2-LED-Lights-p/duallyled.htm

With the low power consumption I could just splice them in with my factory reverse lights and be done but Im looking for a way to have the ability to have the lights automatically come on with my factory reverse lights but also be wired to a switch so I could turn them on anytime for loading up the truck at night or for a trail repair or flat tire.

Is there a way to wire a relay to be triggered by two different sources or are there other ways to do this?

Yes there is - just have to tap the reversing line and use a double throw switch.

I'll see if I have a diagram at home.
If you look at my build thread you can see the lights and the switches I used.

Btw the rigid lights are Sweet! I would love some.

You didn't mention what year you had, so this is based off the 2001...

Wiring: (may need to click to enlarge)

Super Multiple Junction (Right side body)

Interior Fuse Panel

So the setup is this...
Need:
1x Single Pole, Double Throw (SPDT) switch
2x wire taps
1x method of splitting DC signal to two places (terminal block, extra tap, etc)

Tap off the SMJ, pin 5A to one pole of the switch
Tap off the fuse panel, pin 6R (auto) or 9R (manual) to the other pole By choosing these wires, you'll place the new laps on the SAME fuse as the existing reverse lamps.
Send the common (usually middle of the switch) to the two reverse lamps

This should work whether you have a manual or auto.
