I'm looking at getting into some 5100's for my X on a 3" SL. During the buying process, another X owner, a 2nd Gen, offered to sell me an extra set he had laying around. He bought the set thinking they would fit, but he's stock height and said they wouldn't.
In my head, I can't imagine them fitting mine either..but they're extremely close to the measurements of the 5100's specific for my year. I'll post the specs of the two below.
Actual 3" lift shocks for my truck:
Extended: ~22"
Collapsed: ~14"
His shocks:
Extended: ~25"
Collapsed: ~15"(15.75")
With the info above, what would you guys say?
