I haz a question for the 1st Gens. Anyone have WeatherTech All Weather Mats installed? I am curious to see pics of the installation and comments about the fit. Be honest. Thanks.

As a side note for those interested. The front Mats are designed around the 2nd generation - 2 driver side posts and 1 passenger side post on the floor. The rear Mats are a semi-custom design. Best-fit so that some trimming or adjusting may be needed.

WeatherTech doesn't do 1st gen stuff last I checked. I've got some other company in the front of mine. Can't remember the name right now. But that same company makes a single piece back seat and trunk. Which are both on my list.

Updating this since I pulled the trigger on them over the weekend. We're talking about these:

As far as I can tell, these are the only ones you can get for the 1st Gen X. And they do not fit at all:

Not the right amount of coverage, weird shape, and they do not contour at all. I asked if they had maybe sent the wrong product, but the person I spoke with said these are the ones that are "the best fit for the 2000-2004 Xterra."

Nope. Sent them back. Disappointing. Need mats. Suggestions?

Husky makes a full contoured bucket liner for the 1st Gen. Mine have held up great. It's not the thick MAT but it's a lot better than anything else I've found. They also do them for the entire back floor and trunk.

I just got some generic good year rubber floor mats, I had to trim the outer portion to fit around the wheel well but they go all the way up under the pedals and cover pretty much everything. The rear ones fit really well too. I can post pics if you guys are interested.
