    Hey Gang,

Installed a set of brand-new Warn hubs a bit ago after my auto-hubs gave up the ghost.

I installed per instructions, but I noticed that while there is a definite 'click' when I unlock the hubs for 2WD, when I lock them for 4WD, there is no audible click.

The 4WD does work despite the no-click, but wondering if this is gonna be a problem down the road. I've been off-road twice recently with no issues and went through a snowstorm as well.

    Anyone else experience this?

If I remember correctly there should not be a click when engaging. What you hear when disengaging is the tension coming off of the splines and retracting.

    Update...

Had some snow today and when engaging, one hub clicked in when locked, the other didn't. Drove for a bit, tried the non-clicking one again, and that one clicked in. No discernible difference between the two modes when driving. There is, however, whether locked or un-, a semi-grindy/ratchety feeling that comes in around 50 mph in 4H. Not sure if that's normal or not. Almost feels like wheel bearings, but I replaced those with the races last summer.

Also replaced the half-shafts up front after the Trip from Hell.
