Upgrading my ride

Hello all. My name is Jeff and live in the Kansas City area. As the title suggests, I have upgraded my ride from a 2003 Xterra (which I still have - hard to let it go) to a 2009 Xterra.

It's been a busy couple of weeks getting the 2009 back in shape:

1. New drivers window motor and new drivers door switches
2. "Freed" a stuck drivers side passenger door
3. Repaired the license plate lights
4. Fixed the gas flap as the spring was gone
5. Added struts to the hood - which I found on this website!

My next steps are to buff out or replace the front head lights - wow are they dim! Also, there are driving lights but they do not work. I am assuming either burned out or full of water. I was going to replace the lights with waterproof led's. And, finally, considering adding some extra lights to the rear to aid in backing. Any advice on any of the light issues?

No advice on the light issues but if it is an automatic I'd be checking the part number on the radiator and seeing if it had been replaced. If it hadn't, then that is the first thing I would do before SMOD strikes and destroys the transmission.
