u-bolt flip/ flip kit???

I just ordered u-bolts to go with my aal and was wondering if I can flip them over and bolt it back up or is there a flip kit made for our trucks??? Ive ask some buddies of mine and there telling me to just cut the excess off of them and call it a day... Thoughts??

so a little more research shows the 2nd gen x's are running these

Our shocks mount to the lower plates so unless you fab new shock mounts to the axle its a no go.


Otherwise, if you have the ability to weld and fab. Perhaps these kits can be fitted for the addition of ground clearance under the spring.

@silverdude got a buddy thats good with a welder.... Idk how much or how far we'd get if we started moving shocks around lol. I may take it to tom's 4x4 (local shop) and see what they think about it.

Gt a ubolt flip on the chef...requires new shock mounts. Same deal for the gen1s.
