Truck is dead

A friend of mine just blew a headgasket on her 01 se 4x4 like 210,000 on the clock. She's trying to figure out what to do with the truck. Right now she's got it sitting at a mechanics shop in kennesaw.

I haven't had a chance to look the truck after the incident. But she's its h
Got prett good paint, and is clean inside. Got any idea what she should ask for the truck? She kbb'd the truck and it comes in @ 2 grand. Now granted that's a running vehicle lol

I was figuring she was looking at 500 to 700 tops. Truck has no mods, as far as i know good block

The trouble Is she's trying to relay what the mechanic told her and she's not very vehicle inclined. Truck is about an hour and half from me. I've just got what she told me to go on

I considered scooping it up. Put mine up for sale, drop a new motor in the truck and put the cash from mine towards an sas. I'm gonnA let her figure out what she's gonna do before making an offer on it

Alright so she made her decision on the truck, she agreed to sell it to me for $600.... Now to decide what I'm gonna do with it and my truck lol

Congrats guy. My Father in Law owns a junk yard and has a 2WD gen 1 that was crashed in the front end. He has already sold the transmission out of it, but the engine is still good. I would have put that engine in it and been good to go.
