Transmission "Hissing"

The transmission on my Xterra seems to "hiss" after driving it for any length of time.

2000 Xterra,
V6
5-speed manual
4x4
190k + miles

When I pull into the garage at home after driving my Xterra, cutting the engine and getting out, I hear a "hissing" seemingly coming from the transmission. The first time I noticed this was after draining and replacing the fluid in both differentials, the transfer case, and the transmission. I followed manufacture specs and used appropriate gear oil for transmission (since it's 5-speed...NOT auto)...

Any thoughts?

Any issues? My gut thought is that it's just a pressure relief since it's friggin hot out right now.

No, no issues. And I make it a point to keep on my engine temp and other "idiot lights".

Pressure release sounds about right. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my transmission "boiling" itself to ruin.

Thanks!
