Let me start by saying I'm a terribly broke college kid, and I have a problem with fast cars! I currently own an 03 mach 1 that is just too expensive for everyday use. The awesome parents of mine offered me my sisters old xterra for free, as long as I promised to sell the mustang! I don't think anyone would've turned down that deal :D

The first day I got her, It had a pink grill guard and pink light guards. I ripped those off ASAP

I rolled around like that for a few months and stockpiled all the parts needed for a BL and PML, as well as 33's. DHyde79 (who is awesome btw) lent a hand with the install about a week ago and this is how it's looking now!

Haha thanks guys! I have some charcoal wheel paint for that very reason. Weather just hasn't cooperated these past couple days. (cold and rainy) no snow : (

At offroadperformanceparts: I was looking at getting a curt rack soon, I was curious what the max payload of it was?

Edit: nm just saw that it says 150 pounds haha

nah, he's not on campus, but, a garage is still a problem I think....if memory serves he doesn't have one, and I doubt that my neighbor wants to let him shack the X in his garage while he paints the wheels.

depending on what paint you do it with, catch it on a warm and breezy day and they're dry within 15 minutes ;) I repainted my sliders, and was stepping on them about 10 minutes later, a couple days later I sprayed them with duplicolor bed armor and within 20 minutes they were totally dry...I know it needs time to properly set up but, if you do light coats and let it dry between coats you'd be good to do it outside...

I do think we should have a pic with all of the pink trim on it though.... ;)

Yeah it isn't fun! I can't wait till this semester ends so I can lock down a good summer job, parts will be flying onto the X

Same plans here haha, also on that cb you have listed I have the same one. Walmart sells it new for $34 but I think they are on ebay for half that.

I looked at wal mart a few days ago with no luck, must've been sold out. Thank you for the ebay tip though I'll be sure to look there.

I still do not know which antenna to get. I looked at a few of the firestiks and dhyde suggested a midland through glass setup.

The only reason I say do the glass mount is cause I hate drilling holes in the body, and I have yet to find a good mount otherwise. The midland one worked pretty well for me, I'm ordering a new one Thursday, and they're cheap, I'll toss one in on my order for ya if you want...cb is 40 on Amazon, I think the loves by the Hollywood 16 has em for 30 or 40 too...

even with willingness to drill, I still wasn't able to find a good place to drill a mount in at, since you need to keep it as far toward the top of the X as possible....
