Spare tire tools, Gen1 vs Gen2

Specifically, is there any difference between the long T-rod used to lower the spare tire between the Gen1 and the Gen2? Mine just broke, and I'm looking for a replacement. Most of the ones I see on the Bay say they are for Gen2, but they look the same. Maybe the length is different? Anybody know?
