Got some new tires mounted the other day. 285/75R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. These should fair well on the trails but 10mpg in a headwind sucks!

3.5" of lift and stock back spacing will just about do it. I need to trim a little but not much.

Ahh... It faired better than the Leaf would have. My only worry was fitting in the parking garage at work and it seemed to still be just barely ok.

Yeah we don't take either of ours out if we know we are going to be in the parking garage. The Leaf has been awesome in the respect because we no longer have to worry about parking.

I had the opportunity to move up to a mud tire for nothing out of pocket. Since my Xterra isn't a daily driver anymore it there was no question about it. Also, the BFGs run super small. The 34s I had measured out to about 32.5 inches tall. they looked small on my truck due to the amount of lift.
