roof rack mods

I have a roof rack but have been thinking about the storage bin and a light bar. the storage bin I can probably figure out. the light bar how do I run the wires? harbor freight has a 40" for $90. I know stupid I just got my first one and love it.

Do you plan on keeping the Storage bin or is it that useful for your needs to where you need to keep it?

What is the "storage bin" you are talking about? I wish the 1st gen had a lid on the basket like the 2nd gen. Anything like that? Tell me more.
