cut a hole in my room and ran it from the top of the a pillar threw the passenger firewall and to the battery. also had to cut a whole into my roof rack and i used a gromet to cover the whole up so the wire barely fit threw. you can only see one wire on my room and its covered up in that plastic stuff as my mind goes blank on what its called.

ya from the lights i cut a hole into the roof rack where it shows in my thread. ran it down that to the bottom portion of the rack, cut a whole in my room there. put gromets in both holes then i ran the wire down the passenger side a pillar to the battery and the controls it literally took my about 5 mins to wire even with the drilling.

I was able to sneak it from the A-pillar to the rack by just dropping a corner. Pull the passenger visor, A-pillar cover, and the door trim and you should be able to pull it down just enough to get your hand in to pull wire.

No, I drilled under the foot of the rack. Then had to drill inside the foot to get into the rail. The one inside the foot was a little awkward for me.

There's enough space between the headliner and the roof skin that you don't really need to worry about drilling through anything.

So you didn't drill at all Deeb?

I won't speak for him, but I didn't either. Just wire loom the wires through the basket and then tie/wrap it around the roof rack. Then run the wires through the weatherstripping and down the A-pillar.

Thought I had some pics of the roof penetration, but apparently not...

Here's a look down the rain channel. I drilled in the upper portion of the roof, so the channel is still clear and _shouldn't_ leak into the cabin. I also sealed the penetration with some Permatex Grey.
