RF system speaker replacement recommendations

I know somewhere in this rig I've got a "subwoofer" and a small amp. What I want to know is what's the easiest (not cheapest) and best replacement speaker/sub to put in there? I'm wanting to replace all four.

Also, do I have to match impedance ratings with subs? I have no idea what that means but someone told me that I'll need to ensure to match impedance levels.

The RF system has a bit if an odd impedance, 2 ohm iirc, that makes finding replacement speakers... difficult. The sub is also hanging across the left rear speaker. Best bang would be to replace the RF amp with one that supports an 8 ohm load, dedicated sub out, and find a set of speakers that sound good to you.

I did a whole explanation of the RF system here. http://www.xterranation.org/showthread.php?5188-new-headunit-help-RF-system-with-amp-04-sc-se&p=204511&viewfull=1#post204511 Just to help you get started. Have a read and then come back with more questions. I will help where I can.
Wow, thanks man. After reading that, to confirm that I understand what I read- the fact that I've already installed a JVC h/u is ok for use with the factory amp/speakers/sub since the harness that I got had all required wiring to make it work. To replace the speakers, I couldn't just take out the old speakers and replace them with new, still using the factory amp to power all? If not, "taking the stock amp out of play" means removing it entirely or only using it to power the three other speakers that aren't a sub?

You can, but you have to run the pre-amp outs, and the factory amp has some preconfigured equalizer settings for what I've read I ran a few different configurations, over the years but I would recommend bypassing the amp and run off the amp in the headunit. I actually had the factory amp with the subwoofer only and used the sub-out on the headunit to drive the OEM amp, It worked well and you can get a decent tune of that way, but that sub itself is the limiting factor for base. And it's hard to tune withall the mix of speakers interconnected....
