Got to work on restoring my trim finally and I must say the heat gun method works surprisingly well. It even eliminated a few minor scratches and such

Looks good.. Ill be watching to see how long it lasts.. I have read that it will fade back pretty quick..

Looks like factory again :)

Wait how does this work? Just run a heat gun over it and it restores the plastic?

Yeah I just took the heat gun and holding it fairly close to the plastic I went over it in a circular motion. It burns off the oxidation and such pretty much. You don't want to just hold it in one place otherwise you will just begin to melt the plastic. It is fairly easy though here is a vid of me doing the corner I wish I had one of the center because you could see the change much better.
