Redbird sra

Hey all I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the off road gem in my region of Indiana, Redbird SRA. I have yet to go over any of the trails myself but would love to if anyone else would like to go and maybe we could do a maxterra event there or something. Redbird has flourished into 1200 acres of offroading enjoyment. With trails from mild to wild there is a trail that will fit anyone's skill level.Redbird State Riding Area is owned and managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources

The park charges $10 a trail or 75 for a 10 trail punch card. Located in dugger, IN. 30 trails total although not all permit full size vehicles, some are for atv only, in total i believe 9 trails permit full size however 1 trail which is Trail 4 was rated one of the top trails for 2007 by B.F. Goodrich and requires front and rear lockers. http://www.redbirdsra.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=15&Itemid=33 website info. also see lots of on trail action on youtube

Little far away for a day trip for me, but I've passed by that area a time or two. Didn't know they had anything like that up there. Good to know about, thanks!

np man i had a feeling it is not well known, i have wanted to hit it for a long time but none of my friends enjoy the same hobby and I am leery of attempting alone due to being SOL if i get stuck.

You butchered my name DRB! :)

David, you are mistaken on pricing. It is $10 for a day pass. The $75 ticket is for 10 separate days (so you save $25 overall).

I'm 100% sure because I've been there 3 times; I live in Bloomington, IN. The trails at Redbird SRA are good but the Badlands in Attica, IN is better (and a bit more expensive).

I cried a little but you are forgiven. :D

David: My time is really restricted as I'm in graduate school now. If you guys plan a trip let me know and if I'm available I'd love to go.
