So yesterday I opened the radiator up and noticed that the fluid in the radiator was brown. I proceeded to drain and flush the radiator out and refilled it. should I just pull out the old radiator out and junk it and replace with a bigger radiator?? Also with the fluid in the radiator being brown I never had a problem with overheating. I had the timing belt replaced and while that got replaced i had the water pump replaced and thermostat. I really need imput

i did the sc swap out and i've never had an issues. fit snug but its awesome around here when its 105+ every day. brown could be small amount of another fluid if im not mistaken? mine was brown also the first time i drained it. but im sure it had never been flushed, and i had it sank in mud a couple times.

Are you a gen1? If so, then yes, def. replace your original radiator with the thicker SC version. Save yourself some headaches down the road

2" channel lock
10mm ratchet
#2 phillips

Catch pan and 2 gallons of coolant help too. New radiator cap maybe.
