Well I am going to the store right now to get plasti dip to paint my fenders and hopefully all my emblems! Can someone give me some tips to making this process easier or how long it took them to do it? any tips would help. I am a rookie...

I'm in the process of painting all my emblems satin black to match all my plastic trim. Hardest part is removing all the old double sided tape residue. It will sure look good when it's done though. Good luck with yours!

If you do it with plastidip, you don't have to remove the emblems.

If you are PlastiDipping the emblems, LEAVE THEM ON THE TRUCK. You can peel off the over spray. I promise. If you don't like how the Dip looks on the badges, you can peel it off. This stuff is amazing.

Get a couple LARGE index cards, slide them in behind the burgers (the Nissan burger). This will make for easier cleanup later with the overspray. For the stuff you feel like you can't peel up, get a rag and some Windex and rub it off. It's that simple. That's the beauty of PlastiDip. :)

I decided to bedline my emblems, along with the plastic step plate on top of the rear bumper. The adhesive behind the emblems was actually very simple to remove, and I reattched the with 3M automotive emblem adhesive. Looks great!
