Hello all, first off ,sorry for making my first post a cry for help, but am in desperate need.....
It Started out with the P0302, Had it in the shop, they put new cap, rotor, plug wires, and new plug in Cyl. #2. They also checked ALL injectors, and said the readings on all 6 were very good.
Got it back, drove it for about a day and a half, no problems.
On my way to work Monday morning, SES blinked for about 10 or 15 seconds, then stopped. noticed nothing wrong. About a minute or so after it blinked again.. and the engine started to miss.
parked at work for the day, on the way home the miss was there from startup, and I heard it backfire twice on the way home as I would lift off the gas pedal. SES light blinked a few times, stayed on for a bit, then blinked again.
hooked it up when I got home and pulled the P0300 code. It also gave me some "FREEZEFRAME" info if that would be of any help for anyone who might be able to shine some light on this problem.
Its back into the garage...... new distributor put in, This got rid of the P0300, but brought back the P0302 code again. There is spark going to the plug. and the plug is wet, showing fuel is delivered..... Re checked the readings on all injectors, all showed good. He checked compression five out of six were good, #2 only got a reading of about 30 , he bled the pressure off, and said it actually was slow to build back up to even that much pressure.
A very big thank you in advance for any light that can be shined on this issue !!!!!!!
