Yes, do the SC upgrade. The core is much thicker than the NA version, and can drop your engine temp by 10*

Ok guys where are y'all finding these radiators brand new for $80??? Cheapest I have found is 135 and 81 just to fix mine. I need it ASAP don't really wanna order one that way I can just run it back if it's wrong or something wrong with it instead of shipping it and having to wait longer etc

I don't know crap bout them lol I just know mine is busted and need it fixed/replaced lol and I can't find one fairly cheap without risking it by ordering it then have the risk of it being wrong one or what not and having to ship it back and then be that much longer without "the slut"

Do you have specs on what the differences are? How to visually tell the difference?

Top and bottom caps are identical, its the core that makes the difference. Stock NA is something of 3/8" thick, SC is the full thickness of the caps. More thickness means more surface area which means more heat bleed.

I know there are countless pics showing the thickness differences, but I can't look right now :(

This really is a no-brainer. That stock radiator causes so many problems...get the thicker one, for the 2002 supercharged X. It will fit your rig, and it will make your life better.
