One, Two, One, Two...

Hi guys!

Just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. Just got a 2000 x, 5 speed 4x4 in decent shape for the midwest. The x is well used, but unmolested, so I'm taking care of that ;-). In the past few days of pandemia I've done the pml, diff and transfer fluid changes and soon will get to rust prevention mode on the undercarriage, thread coming soon. I also got a snorkel for a jeep xj for 50 bucks on ebay, so I figured what the hell, lets adapt it! Here is how she sits so far, I also included a pic of the snorkel mod in the works... Thanks for letting me join the gang!

Thanks! It might, but I am not 100% sure. It is made of ABS plastic, which could be softened with a heat gun and brought to shape when needed. In fact it took me very little time to re shape the neck of the snorkel by just blowing hot air through the head of the snorkel. Ebay has them for 53 bucks, us stock, shipped free via ups. It is a great excuse to go for it! I will try to do a write up in the near future, but again, you can't beat that price!
