Ok, so it started a month ago, I was hearing a clicking sound so I took it to the mechanics and they said I had NO oil in the pan. which was weird because I just had an oil change a month and a half before that. So they did an oil change, then I was on my way. A couple of days ago I started hearing the clicking noise again I checked the dip stick. It was completely dry, and its been under a month since I had an oil change. Also it doesn't leak a drop. Last week I cleaned my air filter, box and see there is a ton of oil in the intake hose. I took it in again and they said something about internal bleeding and I might need a new motor.. so i was wondering if you guys can give me a second opinion

Does anyone know what is going on? Or if it has happen to you??

Thanks!!

At or mt? If you have an at check the trans fluid. Also make sure you don't have oil in the coolant. There is only so many places oil can go if it isn't leaking.

Absolutely not. What's baffling me is how it got up there.

Sent via wild ferrets on crack

PCV issues.

OP how many miles on the engine?

How much oil is in the intake tube and airbox? Does it look like 3 quarts?

When it shows empty on the dip stick how much oil do you get out of the engine when you drain it? If there was indeed no oil in the pan find another engine. The quickest way to destroy a plain bearing engine is to run it low on oil.

If it's not leaking oil externally it is consuming it internally. No other explanation think rings, valve guides, and or valve guide seals.

120xxx, the oil was only in the intake tube... about a quarter of a quart, it was all over the wall of the tube and a small puddle at the bottom. the first time i took it in to the mechanic i saw him drain out about half a quart to a quart. so the second time they check the oil level agian and their was no oil on the dipstick, all they did was top it off that time
