I would start with the O2 sensors. Downstream sensors aren't bad on amazon. Legit NGK ones can be had for $30-40. Start there.

The front cat was a pain because it was the drivers side and the brake lines were in the way. Had to rig up a mount to keep the heat shield on the manifold. All three bolts broke off. The back cat was an easy task. I used my friend's lift in his garage so it made this repair a little easier.

I meant "how damaged were the cats", but this is good info too. My 2001 is still on the factory cats.

Probably slightly different construction, but same basic principle. I'm just shocked at how a 13 year old vehicle is still running assembly line cats and others need them replaced after 5-7 years.

That amazes me. I could tell a significant difference in power when I replaced the factory exhaust. How many miles are you up to?

233, but my driver manifold is cracked to hell. Didn't notice the passenger side last time I sea foamed, but is probably toast too

The pre cats were the main reason that I went with the Thorleys, it was cheaper in the long run to do them instead of new cats. And it runs much batter now also.
