O2 sensor bank 1 heated

I had this code show up but then the light went off. What causes this or how can I prevent it because it still won't allow the truck to pass emissions testing. Truck is running fine so I don't think anything is actually wrong.

It sits mostly because I ride the motorcycle maybe sitting caused it idk.

Depends on the actual code, as there's about a dozen that relate to that sensor. If it was a p0135/0155 then it's saying the heater element is shot, and the sensor really needs to be replaced. Beyond that, let us know the actual code.

That's the problem I'm not showing any codes when I try to read it. There isn't any pending trouble code at all showing with a scanner. However when I took it for emissions testing they are failing it saying it's showing a code for the o2 sensor. But they can't tell me the code just that it has to do with the sensor. I think it's all bs personally.

Was the ECU cleared recently? It takes a while for the O2 sensors to read 'ready' before they'll pass an emission test.
