Not starting after timing belt job

I'm completely stumped on this one. After replace timing belt and getting everything back together, key in the ignition, turn it, nothing happens. Is it the starter interrupt kicking in? I've tried everything I can find to reset the security system, but it seems to arm and disarm just fine. I noticed that none of my dash lights or radio goes on, so ignition switch? It does chime with the key in ignition with the door open so maybe not ignition switch?
I have no clue anymore, I honestly think this thing is possessed

I assume you checked all the easy stuff? Battery is charged, cables are on correct and tight?

The really strange thing, is that there are no electrical connections associated with changing them, take a good look at your fuses, both under the hood, and the dash. because there no electrical connections involved.

I have checked the simple stuff

Hear anything when you go to start? Should hear the fuel pump whine when the key is turned to on

I don't recall hearing the pump go on, but I can't confirm at the moment

I know! This is why I think it's cursed. I fix one thing and something else completely unrelated breaks

Okay so with the key turned to on the fuel pump does not kick on, dash lights don't go on, radio doesn't go on, and the windows don't work. Any ideas?

Check that your baterry connections are clean and tight, and I'm not sure if the first gen had a fusible link at the battery positive terminal like the 2nd gens, but if so, make sure that didn't somehow get blown.

After checking the fuses for what felt like the millionth time, we found that one of the 40a ignition fuses was blown and there was shorted out wire in the harness underneath the top rad support. It was my own stupid fault for the wire being shorted out lol

Oh no I'm sorry. All I did to fix the short was solder and heat shrunk the wire back together. Popped in a new fuse from the local parts house and it was good to go.
