New guy here, just wanted to drop in and say hello. Recently traded my first gen Tacoma in on a 2011 Pro-4X. I've been eyeballing the Xterra every since they came out with the Offroad/Pro-4X models, and now that I have two young kids, the Xterra just made sense.
I've only had it 2 days now, and couldn't be happier. I can't believe how well this thing moves for an SUV. I've been an avid "wheeler" for many years now, but don't do any extreme trails anymore, so I likely won't be modifying the Xterra much. Perhaps a very small lift, sliders, winch in factory bumper. Thanks for the awesome site, I look forward to learning lots!
