hey guys,
i'm not an idiot when it comes to wiring, but i'd feel better if someone with a little more snap look this over to make sure i'm not missing something.

i have a 4ga wire from my battery feeding trough a 100A inline fuse to a blue sea 6 circuit fuse block (#5025) mounted under the passanger's seat of the Xterra.

i talked to Jim (OTRATTW) today about some new switches and he gave me the pin out of them (V1D1J661). can some one review the below digram i sketched up and make sure that how i have everything hooked up is reasonable? i've also attached the pin out sheet for refrence.

thanks,
T

Looks good, but I hate running extra wiring if I don't need to. Instead of running the grounds for the lights all the way back to your block, can you ground them individually at their location?

Otherwise, looks sound. What gauge wiring feeding your switches and relays (for switch and relay power) and what size for the switched power to the relays?

And are you stuck on mounting that much power inside the passenger's compartment vs. running the block inside the engine compartment?

^ I like to try and keep my grounds and feeds the same length, in my oppinion it's a little cleaner install. As for the wiring. 10ga to power and ground the lights, 16ga to wire the switches. I could mount it under the hood. But having it in the cab seems like a better location since it will minimize the clutter under the hood and most of the lighting feeds need to run through the cab anyway. :meh:

Thanks for the reply!

Looks good to me as well. Still with cycle on the grounds.

Tech the length would be less of you ran it to say the frame or another ground as it will go to the battery directly rather than a fuse block then the battery. And for cleaner, less wiring is always cleaner.

But to each their own. Venture forth my brotha!
