I'm unable to find any info here or elsewhere online in the matter of a replacement positive battery cable and as such I cannot find a replacement online so I will have to just wing it and purchase a non specific positive cable and install it so I must ask the following questions. What Length and what gauge? 01 1st gen 3.3 Seems everyone sells the negative cable but not the posi.

First, this is just me typing at work, not looking at my X. I think the battery cables are 2ga.

Plus, the positive is more like a small harness than a generic battery cable. At least on mine. Is yours pretty bad?

I replaced the lead but I still have to bang on it or jiggle it sometimes to get it to work so I thought I would just replace both cables. There is a jumper cable that is black on the positive side terminal that connects to the alternator mount but it looks like a ground cable. Confusing.
