I don't have a catchy/cute pet name for my X yet but maybe I will get around to naming "her/him/it" sooner or later. I've had help on this build dating back to 2014 from members over on TNX and some that are now here on XN they know who they are and I can't thank them enough!

Now, time to work on a name for the ol' gal.

Here she is still sitting in her relatively stock form (2011/2012) save for a few small mods {not visible to the naked eye) at Devils Lake State Park in Baraboo, WI . Went for a nice winter hike that day.

These next photos are still in un-lifted form (2011/2012) with several small mods yet. You can see my snazzy Bucksnort Bumper. Bill was just down the street from me so it was the obvious choice at that point in my build. This is inside the company hangar and that is one of the aircraft I used to fly and still do on a contract basis at times (not exact aircraft but same model)

Here are a few with my first lift (Sway-A-Way 2.5's, PRG Uppers, Alcan Leafs w/ PRG U-Bolt Flip Kit, Radflo 2.0 rear shocks and PRG adjustable shackles. Oh and I guess I forgot to add that We put the Shrockworks bumper w/PIAA 580 lights up front. Underneath, it's got the radiator and engine skids from Shrock as well as the running board type sliders. Also, my Buksnort bumper makes an appearance. It was convenient to get the bumper since he lived just down the street from me!

This was a trip up to the Porcupine Mountains and my buddy's vacation just coincided with the first week of January which happened to be the coldest week of the year so far ;)

A Kwik stop at a Kwik Trip! It was slow going as it started to snow just as we left in the early morning hours. How convenient.

The back-side all coated with fresh snow. My Bucksnort bumper looks cold!

Stopped in at a local Eagles Club (unbeknownst to us) to have a hot toddy and made some friends. We didn't even know we had to be members and they were very friendly and made us honorary members for the day! The Shrock Sliders got iced up pretty good. I liked the running board style but u;timately swapped them out for the angled up style Shrocks. My DepHep rack served me well for the time that I had it. Got it from BORNGEARHEAD over on TNX.

We were going to camp out the first night but got up to the Porkies too late in the day so we found a nice little motel in downtown Ontonagon this is what we woke up to in the early morning hours. Glad we didn't camp out. It was probably -50 with the windchill lol

10576916_975616309132952_3407637077881084045_n.jpg
A couple hours later, getting ready to head to the Porkies. The rest of the story to be continued. My Cooper STTs served me well

I miss snow. One of the few things I do miss from Wisconsin

Ha! Well, I went from Wisconsin to Montana and now in Tennessee. Heading back to Montana or Wyoming here sometime in the very near future. Might have a short stay in Northern Florida before that.

Headed up to Fairy Lake. Looking back, I think I had a sticker problem or wanted to add a ton of horsepowers!

Got caught up in a surprise summer storm complete with pea sized hail . I'll detail this trip more in a trip report with more photos. Came back to find another 2nd gen and a 1st gen parked in the lot. And the Bentonite mix of mud was like concrete. What a pain in the butt! Still love it!

The Magruder Corridor or is it the Montana Road or the Nez Perce Trail. Whatever the name, it was a fun time! Just before I got my Radflo coilovers installed. No RTT yet and no big mods other than the coilovers that i would install a couple months later.

These were some great sliders from Shrockworks. Ultimately, I liked the look of the plain angled- up sliders they made and swapped them out and sold these on another forum. I do kinda want some Whiteknuckle OffRoad sliders however :)
