Leaky head gasket.

Got the leaky head gasket blues.
Very minor, gotta add some coolant about every 2 to 3 months, about half a gallon.
If I was to use some block sealer what kind should I use?

Do a leak down compression check before you add anything. what else makes you think that it is the head gasket.

I can smell it under the hood.

Does it smell like coolant or burnt coolant?

Coolant sans burn.

Then it's probably just a coolant leak somewhere. White smoke from the exhaust at all?

Not smoke but when outside temp is low the exhaust is a little foggy looking but no smell from it.

Yeah. Not a head gasket.

So what you think?
It's leaking somewhere.

Look for any wetness around any of the coolant junctions. Upper and lower rad, heater core, etc.
