Thanks guys, and Curt there wasn't a lot of rust on frame but the rust that was there had been covered with paint. The exhaust the worst corrosion. But bolts were impossible to get off when I changed my shackles I could not one of the nuts off and had to cut it off. I think the salt or our winters here in salt lake only added to it
but the real rust came from what I did when I re-coated the bumpers...
But to answer question about the bumpers, the answer is no. The bumpers are what got me a good trade in. The front bumper still looked amazing but had been rusted on the inside where it didn't get a coat of duplicolor bedliner. The sliders and the rear bumper that I re-powdercoated last year wasn't holding up. It had been gaining rust spots on top. So I thought rather then fight the rust let them go, they really do add a lot of weight and I really want to have something different then everyone else. So I am going to look going custom!
