Interference or Non Interference?

So I've found conflicting info on the internet and wanted to ask you all.

I have a 2001 X with a V6 and my timing belt is LONG overdue. I was wondering if the engine is a non interference or interference engine. I just wanted to know how urgently it needs to be replaced since I've already sat on it longer than I should've.

Thanks in advanced!

Technically, it is interference, but many people have had their belts break with no damage. Others have had damage. FYI: Mine went well over 100K before it's first change, but get it done as soon as you can

Um no. That would be bad. It doesn't get driven that often since it's not even a mile to the train I take to work. But every time I do drive it long distances I have that in the back of my mind.

The scheduled maintenance is 105,000 miles or 7 years, whichever comes first. Looks like you are 5 years past your due schedule regardless of miles. Change it ASAP!
