Indexing Torsion Bars

I am officially lost at the moment, I have loosened the top nut and started to crank the adjustment finger up. with the correct gap in between the bump stop I am only gaining about 1 inch maybe a little less. am I doing something wrong here?

What are you trying to do? Just lift the truck up a few inches or have you installed new t-bars and upper A arms?

If the bars settle, then they have to be rephased in order to get the correct ride height. If you do not have a service manual then go here and you will have access to one.
