A quick message to say "Hi" and hopefully elicit a bit of help. Retired here from LA, we needed a truck to haul stuff, and the 4x4 was very attractive given where we live. I'm a bit of a gearhead so taking care of her has been fun, but the time has come to let her go. A 2002 native CA vehicle, 5 speed manual w/supercharger.
Mechanical's and body very sound but black paint worse for wear and clear coat gone on hood and various other places.
I'm thinking I will have to post more info somewhere else on this site but would like guidance, and so as not to offend anyone, I'm wondering what I should ask for her.
Thanks,
Vince

Shame it's black. Blue and I'd be your target demo.

What's the mileage? Does it need any major maintenance?

Thanks for the enquiry. Mileage is 158K. No major work needed, I had the timing belt and water pump replaced about 200 miles ago.
Shes completely stock, has not been modified, still has the original first aid kit! (not that I'd recommend using it at this point). Defects are all cosmetic, the clear coat has given up in places, esp. on the hood. Hubs work, clutch is smooth and engages Hi and Low easily.
It needs tires and I'm debating putting average road tires just to get where shes going vs leaving the existing ones on and letting the new owner select their preferred tires.

Thanks Prime, that's about where I was thinking without putting new tires on. Only problem is where I live I don't think people know what a bit of a "unicorn" this manual SE S/C is, its just a 22 yo truck!

SLO B, I just sent you a PM about your truck. My kid in Tucson may be very interested in buying it. Thanks

Unicorn is the term for an 02 SE/SC manual. The one and only year that was a thing. I'm on the active hunt for my unicorn in blue. Sell it to the right person.
