Help putting my front hubs back together.

Swapped out my front brake rotors on my '03 Xterra and someone reassembled something wrong and screw up some small parts. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting these back together and fitted in properly. Apparently my Youtube video I watched didn't help me much. I've ordered the replacement parts but would love someone who knows what they are doing to give me a hand on correct reassembly.

Thanks, yes I read those instructions and I followed them. The right side assembly seems to be fine, its the left side that got chewed up. I've got the new part on order and will try it again.

The leftside Fixed Cam Assembly. I think I didn't align the metal tabs on it to the ones in the hub assembly. After I put it all back together I took it down the road very slowly ( 5 mphn for a block) and heard a clicking sound. I went back up the street and took the hubgs off and foudn the damage.

Because I took the right side one off and it was fine.

If you're looking for parts I have my stock auto hubs in a box on the shelf, 7x,xxx miles on them I believe. I already gave a few pieces of one to another member, but I'm pretty sure one of them is still complete.

Let me know if there's any parts you need and we'll go from there.

I would gladly pay you!
See my attached pic and the Fax sheet, it shows exactly what I need. Do you have that piece? Dealership keeps telling me it's part of the hub assembly and can't be had separately.

Yes that's it!
Reply to my PM and your Paypal address and I'll send you some money.
I wonder if I didn't get the little notch lined up correctly? You see on the back side there are two little tabs opposite eachother? One has a half moon notched into and the other doesn't? I'm sure that is meant to line up with something but I'm not sure with what?

I still need some guidance on getting this piece back in my hub correctly. Can anyone help? The first time I did it, I ruined this little part. I don't want to do that again. EVen though I followed the manual I managed to screw it up. Can anyone help?

Really sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I couldn't find the dang box.

Is the bearing lock nut torque correct? Is the lock washer screwed in place?
The "fixed cam assembly" should fit on the knuckle spindle, tabs on the assembly line up in the notches of the spindle and not spin. Spindle washer should slide over the notches of the axle and the snap ring should snap into the locking grove in the axle and hold everything in place.
Stick your finger in the auto hub and make sure it's "open".
Slide it on, bolts to spec (blue loctite bolts).
Should be good.

Make sure you have all the broken pieces of the damaged assembly out of the spindle/bearings/hub/etc.
It doesn't look like all of it is pictured above...

Yes I'll get all the pieces out. I just left part of it on the hub so I could still drive it around before I put the new pieces in.
