Greetings Xterra Nation from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada!
I’m extremely new to the X and to the site. I’ve been looking for a decent Xterra for the last couple years and finally found one last month.
She’s a 2000 SE w/4x4 and the 5 speed manual. Body is in relatively great shape for an 18 year old vehicle.
She’s literally been around the block more than a few times and currently has 306k on the OD(that’s about 195k miles!) but the timing was done 6 months ago(for the 2nd time) and the clutch has about 5000km’s on it. I’ll have to do the valve cover gaskets and swap out a leaky steering gear, but she still runs great for such an old girl. I paid $2800 Canadian for her(safetied) and so far, I think I got a helluva deal. I’m loving this rig, even at bone stock. It will get even better with time and work.
I really like the site and the knowledge that you members possess, that I’ve seen in the short time I’ve been lurking since picking up my new to me X. This will come in handy once the real mods start.
Happy to be here!
Kris
