I'm not a big fan of the switches and wanted something different. I found some nice switches on the OTTRAW site but not sure of the wiring. The original switch is four wires 1 Black / 1 Red / 1 Red with a yellow stripe (high setting) / 1 Red with a blue stripe (low setting)
I originally wanted to put Pathfinder heated seat switches in but could no figure out the wiring. I was able to get power to the switch but when on the high setting only the bottom part of the seat heater worked. When switched to the low setting nothing worked. When I switched the wires around the fuse would blow.
So now I decided on OTTRAW Switches. Before I go and screw everything up with my limited knowledge and have my X incinerated here's how I was thinking the wiring would go:
Red Positive to #2
Black split to #7 and # 9
Red with yellow stripe split to #8 and # 1 (upper for high setting)
Red with blue stripe split to #3 and #10 (lower for low setting)
Would this work?
