This System:
I've had this system for about 3 years now back before I was a cool kid and got a radio with an USB connection.
Compatibility: It works with most iPods and iPhones such as the iPod Mini (Gen 1), iPod Touch (Gen 1 & 2), and iPhones (Gen 1, 3G, 3GS, 4). This will NOT work on iPhone 5's because of the old style pin connection. Though it will play songs, it will only charge certain iPods/iPhones. For example, it will charge my Gen 1 iPod Touch, but not my iPhone 4; however, it will charge my Gen 1 iPhone. It will also play Pandora and YouTube audio if you start the app prior to plugging in the device.
For your car or truck, the system is usable in two settings: FM Transmitter or AUX input. I have always used the FM Transmitter and been pleased with how strong the system is. The Aux input will work on either the front or back input on your radio.

I have most of the mounting hardware except for the sticky-pads that it comes with. I have used Gorilla Tape in the past to secure it do my dash/console.
