Fog Light Wiring...

So for christmas my wife got me OEM fog lights for my 2006 X, it also came with a wiring harness for it.

Now the issue is that the "kit" didn't come with a new turn signal / headlight stalk. Just some sort of harness with no instructions whatsoever. Therefore my question is, what can/should I do with this? I'm fairly certain that my X has the wiring harness taped up above the fog lights (havent checked yet), so what would this wiring harness be?

Is there any way to wire this so that I dont have to purchase a new headlight stalk?

Here is the kit in question:

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Your Xterra should have the factory harness built in.. You need the lights and the stalk..

Looks almost exactly like the one I bought. The setup itself is simple (I suck at electrical so that says alot) open it up and pull everything apart you should see how it hooks together. No you don't have to buy a new headlight stalk it should have come with a switch.

If you want it to function like the factory installed fog lamps, toss out that harness, get a new stalk with the fog lamp switch, and plug everything in to the wires that should already exist in your truck.

If you want to save money on the new stalk, use the harness that came with the kit and wire them up like aftermarket lights.

the switch itselft has a red, white, and black wire coming out of it. I know black is typically ground, what color is power in and which color is power out? Red or white?
